Coastal Carolina University’s Delta Sigma Pi Hosts Opportunity Night
A student at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, Christopher Joseph Panciocco belongs to the Community and Business Engagement Institute (CoBE) fellowship program as a consulting associate. Through this internship opportunity he gains experience in diagnosing business problems and helps companies perform more efficiently. At the university, Christopher Joseph Panciocco belongs to the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. A coed professional fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi develops business leaders by providing members with leadership skills, service opportunities, and professional development. Founded in 1907, the fraternity has approximately 12,000 collegiate members at nearly 300 collegiate chapters. A recent networking event sponsored by Delta Sigma Pi was Opportunity Night, which was held in April 2017 at the Marina Inn in Myrtle Beach. Sponsored by Primerica, the event included Primerica regional VP Summer Mueller and Primerica regional leader and former CCU men’s basketball coach Russ Bergman. Both speakers talked about financial concepts and education as well as structuring businesses. Primerica senior national sales director Bill Whittle served as guest speaker. At the evening event, CCU’s chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was honored by Primerica for its involvement in the community.

The LEAD Schools of the Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity
A marketing student at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in Conway, South Carolina, Christopher Joseph Panciocco is currently gaining practical hands-on experience as a consulting associate intern through the CCU Community and Business Engagement Institute. In addition to his studies, Christopher Joseph Panciocco participates in the local chapter of the Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity. As part of its mission to offer professional and educational opportunities to its membership base, Delta Sigma Pi provides ongoing support for its Leadership and Excellence Academies for Deltasigs (LEAD) program. In addition to sponsoring regular LEAD Provincial Conferences, the program affords valuable leadership guidance through its LEAD Schools. Offered every autumn in cities throughout the United States, LEAD Schools attract a range of Delta Sigma Pi pledges, alumni members, and members of the collegiate community. These forums operate under the sponsorship of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation and stress the importance of building leadership skills to drive professional development and foster effective community involvement.
